Townes Van Zandt epitomises a lot of what Triste Magazine is about. I want to put out a special issue of the magazine dedicated, either mainly, or exclusively to Townes Van Zandt, depending on the amount and quality of content I can collect. Rather than endlessly recycling the existing material I want to use as much first person testimony as possible - either from people who knew Townes, those who played with him or even who saw him play.
